Nephthys
Nephthys is very friendly and welcoming. Usually most daemons carry this subtle current of energy that is slightly off-setting. This current is responsible for the "creepy, spine- tingling" feeling that is so highly spotlighted in horror and thriller movies. Because of these movies, this feeling is associated with evil or negativity being nearby. In Truth, this is only partially correct. Yes, the spine-tingling feeling is an instinct that activates a human's inborn "fight-or-flight" mechanism, however that feeling also denotes ones kundalini stirring. The other place commonly felt is in the general genitalia area, which is the seat of unawakened kundalini force. Once again, this feeling is strongly associated with sexuality, as sexuality is a potent energetic experience and kundalini is very sexual in this meaning. This "sexual" stirring has also been conditioned through various social avenues as being "wrong". And, another common theme in horror/thriller movies is young couples inherent "need" to have sex in places where the energy is offset and denoting danger. See the common thread?
Daemons carry this subtle current as part of their vibration. When they "come close to us" in vibration, our physical and etheric bodies sense this different current/vibration of bio-electricity and seek to vibrate harmoniously with it. Because of various reasons, much of the human race vibrates at a mid-to- low rate (although in recent years this is steadily quickening). These beings vibrate at an incredibly high rate. In order for our human physical and etheric bodies to meet and vibrate at their high level, certain physical "signs" become the effects of this. The "spine-tingling" feeling marks the beginning and is our instinctual self saying "Hey conscious mind! Something freaky deaky is happening!" Other physical effects vary widely from person to person, however personally, I often feeling the stirring in the genitalia region and as it progresses, my body quivers and shakes uncontrollably. Sometimes I will get "ticks" where my body will seize up momentarily.
As I mentioned earlier, Nephthys is a very friendly and welcoming daemon. Her energy does not do this; it is like a caress. She meets energetically in a calm environment. I do not shake or experience any of the more physically obvious effects when I talk with her. A lot of daemons are silent, however Nephthys is not one of these. She talks freely and is very kind and sweet. She smooths rocky roads to make those she works with feel comfortable. I am fairly certain that she is a Healer. However, there is a certain sadness or sense of ill-confidence about her (it is very hard to see).
Since Nephthys is married to Set, One Aspect of the Tripartite Being, I am fairly certain that she has a great deal to do with Astaroth. I feel they are the same Being; Nephthys being the self that tricks herself into believing she is not good enough. Nephthys is the Journey; Astaroth is the Destination and what Nephthys was/is all along that she could not quite see.
